Rocking Wraps and Nursing Necklaces

Years ago I was asked if I made nursing necklaces~ at the time I had never heard of them. When I looked into the idea most of what I saw was somewhat chunky and often plastic, almost like wearing a toy. It occurred to me that I could create something that would be meaningful for a mom (or dad!) to wear, while having smooth edges everywhere for little reaching fingers, and be eye-catching for a little babe to gaze upon while being nursed or rocked as the case may be. This particular style of wearable art can become a keepsake long after the little one has grown, worn well beyond rocking years, and hopefully holding memories of special shared times between parent and child.
